Praying Hands

Notes from

first city fellowship

Welcome to our weekly Notes from First City!  We pray this section is helpful

in keeping you informed on what’s happening here in First City.

Also check out our Calendar for more events

We’ll be hosting our next Financial Peace University (FPU) class after the New Year.  Check out the Ramsey site at FPU.com for more information on what FPU is.  Use our Connect page to reach out and ask any questions.  We’ll be publishing a start date soon!

Come join us this Sunday at 2:00 pm at 746 Spruce St  as we continue in our sermon series. “Why is Christmas a Big Deal?”.  In this series, we’re spending six weeks looking at what Christmas really is, who Jesus really is, and how we should respond to Christmas.  This week we’ll look at what it means for Jesus to be called “Prince of Peace”.  We pray this series will be a blessing to you and will help you understand just how great and how significant Christmas is.  We hope to see you there!

Come join us for a joint Christmas Eve service with Leavenworth Baptist Church at 5:00 pm on Sunday, December 24th.  We won’t be holding a service on Monday.

Grow Together

Small Groups

At First City Fellowship, we believe strongly that we are called to minister to a city, not just host a worship service each week.  One way we do that is by hosting small groups. See our Calendar for days and time. Or through our Connect page.

Our small groups meet during the week in a relaxed atmosphere in our homes.  They are an opportunity to get to know each other better, learn and grow together, and support each other.

quote of the week

“I have decided to stick to love...Hate is too great a burden to bear.”
